Snowrise™ collects information about you when you use our mobile applications, website, and other online products and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to all persons anywhere in the world who use our Services to collect and view retailer, brand, and product presence attributes.

Collection of Information You Provide to Us

We collect information that you enter into our Services, such as when you create or modify your account, enter retailer and store attributes, enter brand and product attributes, add photos and comments, and contact customer support. This information may include: email, postal addresses, comments containing names, and other information you choose to provide.

Information We Collect Through Your Use of Our Services

When you use our Services, we collect the following information about you:

  • Registration Information: When you create an account using the mobile application, we collect your method of sign-in (ex. Google authentication) and associated email address, the date and time of registration, and a Unique Use ID (“UUID”) for the device on which you install the mobile application.
  • Location Information: The mobile application does use precise location data to auto-populate relevant store address information and previously entered retailer, brand, and product information associated with a postal address. Only the location data pertaining to a location where you enter and save information is exported from the device.  If you initially permit the collection of this information, you can later disable it by changing the location settings on your mobile device. However, this will limit your ability to use certain features of our Services.
  • Transaction Information: We collect date and time details when you use our Services.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about your device, including, for example, the device type, operating system and version, and wireless carrier for your device.
  • Log Information: When you interact with our Services, we collect server logs, which may include information like app crashes and other system activity.

How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect about you to:

  • enable you to access, view, and collect data across multiple devices using a single registered account;
  • respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service;
  • operate and improve the user experience of our Services based on your preferences;
  • perform internal operations, including, for example, to prevent fraud and abuse of our Services; to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends;
  • send you communications related to technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
  • update you on new services, benefits, events, and promotions; and
  • contact you for market research regarding our Services.

Sharing Of Your Information

Snowrise will not share your information with third parties other than as follows:

  • with third party vendors, consultants and other service providers who work for us and need access to your information to perform work on our behalf;
  • with third party vendors that provide data storage and backup services on our behalf;
  • to (i) comply with laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process, (ii) to protect the rights and property of the Company and our agents, customers, members, and others including to enforce our agreements, policies and terms of use or (iii) in an emergency to protect the personal safety of the Company, its customers, or any person;
  • in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, or dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets to another company;
  • with the general public if you submit content in a public forum, such as blog comments, social media posts, or other features of our Services that are viewable by the general public;
  • if we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing; and
  • in an aggregated and/or anonymous format which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Opt-Out

You may opt-out of providing information to Snowrise at any time by uninstalling the Services using the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the applicable mobile application marketplace or store.

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from Snowrise by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your accounts, about Services you have requested, or our ongoing business relations. You may also send requests regarding your contact preferences to privacy@snowrise.net.

Cookies

Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our Website.

Children

The mobile application is not directed to children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information without the consent of a parent or guardian, please contact us at privacy@snowrise.net.

Information Security

Snowrise takes reasonable steps to help protect your information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure. Snowrise expressly disclaims any representation or warranty, whether express or implied, with respect to ensuring, guaranteeing or otherwise offering any definitive promise of security in connection with your information.

Note To Users Outside Of The United States

Our digital operations are conducted, in whole or in part, in the United States of America. Regardless of where you live, you consent to have your personal data transferred, processed, and stored in the United States, and allow Snowrise to use and collect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint about Snowrise’s privacy practices, please contact us by email at privacy@snowrise.net. We will take reasonable steps to work with you to attempt to resolve your complaint.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will change the “Last Updated” date above.
